Told my daughter buying there would help her credit, then when upgrading, wanted her car + 5000 down. The car they were trying to sell was not even safe to test drive as the back tires were completly bald. She went to a dealership and got a better deal on a newer car.

My wife and I showed up late one day to look at a car I found online. When we arrived we were greeted by Jesus who gladly showed us the car. He also showed us several other cars in the same price range. There was no pressure, no up salesmanship involved at all. We later returned to test drive one of the other cars Jesus had shown us. That is all. We liked it and I said I would return once I had arranged financing with my bank. Jesus offered us a printout with the details including the VIN, mileage, etc. for the car, no pressure at all. This turned out to be good information to have as I spent the next 2 days researching and comparison shopping. Even given that there were obvious repairs on the car and a few yet to be done (its used people) it was clearly a great deal. In the interim my wife found the care listed on TrueCar with a discount offer from our bank. We returned with the TrueCar Certificate in hand and met Matt, the Sales Manager, who also turned out to be a really nice guy. He looked at the deal and filled out the documentation we needed to finish the financing with the bank. Oh, and he even gave us an additional discount of his own free will. What he didn't know is that he hit the exact price we wanted. All without any high pressure sales tactics. All said' we had a great experience. We know we didn't get the cream of the crop but we got exactly what we were looking for at an extremely fair price. You might wonder why we didn't finish the deal with Jesus. Well he was getting married that day. Jesus, May today be the beginning of a long, happy life together.
